Every weekend I make it a point to grill at least 200 gms of chicken breast boneless and store it in a container in my fridge. This comes in handy to make many quick fix recipes ,one of which I am sharing with you. This is my easy chicken wraps where i have used five ingredients from my fridge.
Today’s ingredients are
- Grilled chicken breast boneless(cut into thin strips)
- Red and green cabbage (cut into thin long strips)
- Mayonnaise
- Chipotle sauce or any hot sauce of your choice
- Homemade rotis or tortillas
TO MAKE GRILLED CHICKEN
Marinate chicken fillets with my raw onion paste for an hour.Grill this on a very hot grill pan or any non stick pan for a minute or so ensuring they get the grill marks ,then lower the flame to medium and let it cook for 10 minutes on one side .Flip it and cook for 5 minutes on the other side. When it cools cut it into thin strips and store.
To make wraps
Add 1 tsp of chipotle sauce to 4 tbsp of mayo.Spread it on your rotis or tortillas , arrange chicken slices and cabbage on one end of the roti and roll it to make a wrap. This is ideal for lunch boxes and an easy dinner for your family. There are never ending mix and match combinations .Let your imaginations run wild with whatever u have in your fridge.
