An ideal evening snack and an appetizer for a party, it can be made and kept in the fridge. Just fry and serve.
A vegetarian dessert, ideal for parties. We’ve had many types of cheesecake but this is a Bengali Delicacy, usually steamed and known as Bhappa Doi. I’m going to put up recipes for both the steamed and my easier way- Baked Doi.
The word bhog means offering and what could be more fitting for this delicious Bengali dish than to be offered to the Goddess herself! The traditional Khichdi also stands as a much favoured food during the Rainy season, especially when accompanied by Pakoras (Indian Fritters).
